JR’s Anpanman Train

JR Anpanman Train アンパンマン列車, Japan 

The JR Anpanman Train is Japan Railway’s tribute to Takashi Yanase (1919-2013). Yanase was born in Kōchi and is the creator of the Anpanman children's manga and anime series. Personally, I’ve never seen the show, but the eye-catching colors really pop! I love JR’s limited time, special train designs and this is one of many on the system that have popped up over the years. 

If the US ever gets with the program I’d be down for a Jimmy Neutron themed train.
