-Reservoir- By: Davey Squires

Her temper was hot, the water was cool.
She could condense diamonds with her one track soul. She was on her way back to school
And then a memory hit her a thousand fold.

The reservoir, The reservoir.

Many years have passed since they had their love.
The water lay rested and it’s been long enough.
She called him up, you remember the spot at the reservoir on the island lot?

The reservoir, The reservoir.

I remember she tried cleaning up the banks.
We always sat near the spillway.
We parted the farthest of friends we could make And I still remember those Spring days.

At the reservoir, The reservoir, The reservoir.
